About Club Events

During the year the Club tries to cater for as many of its Members as possible, from talks and competitions to practical evenings and the occasional trip out.

The invited speaker generally gives a talk on his or her latest adventure, including any photographic problems encountered.

Practical evenings are designed to allow Members to take photographs that they might not otherwise take: examples are still life and portraiture in a studio setting.

We generally have an outing in early summer, again to get Members photographing something different.

Within the Club there is a vast range of knowledge which we hope to impart to the Membership.

The Club’s chief aim is to encourage photography, whether you are a beginner or someone who wants to improve their technique.
